Making an Order
The Roots and Culture shop operates as a mail order service soon to be upgraded to a full online purchasing service. To order please email a list of titles to info@rootsandculture.co.uk, we will then check stock availability, confirm the total cost of the order including postage, then once payment has cleared arrange delivery of the order. Alternatively you can telephone the Roots and Culture Office on +44 (0)209 697 5863.
Payments for orders can be made via Paypal, all major credit and debit cards, money order/bank draft, cheque or cash. Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to Roots and Culture. For cheques or cash it is advised it is sent via a secure postal or courier service.
Please do not send cash through the post unless by registered post. Payment can be made in either Sterling Bank Drafts or International Giro (both available from the Post Office, please allow for current exchange rate if paying by International Giro), or through Paypal. Orders will be dispatched as soon as payments have been cleared or payment is received, please allow 5 working days for cheques to be cleared.
Postage and Packaging
Please use the tables below as guide to the postage cost, where ever possible if ordering a variety of items we will try our best to minimise the postage cost of your order.
A certificate of postage is always obtained for each parcel, we cannot accept responsibility for lost or mislaid parcels. An extra charge based on the weight of the package is payable on your order for safe delivery, this is strongly advised for all packages over £15.
